Anti dating app singles social, Melbourne launch

About this night.

Bored of Dating Apps (BODA) is finally coming to Melbourne. After selling out our viral singles event across London, New York, Toronto, Amsterdam and beyond, the most rom com singles event is officially landing in Australia.

No awkward speed dating, no forced icebreakers, no cheesy games. Just a beautiful venue, great music, healthy dating culture boundaries, and hundreds of single people who are all there for exactly the same reason: to meet someone IRL.

95% of people come on their own. Our hosts (think professional wingwomen) will introduce you, help spark conversations and make sure no one is left standing on the sidelines. Forget algorithms and come for the singles happy hour where oysters are $2.

What to expect: a room full of brilliant single people who all want a meet cute, hosts introducing people all evening, great music and an effortlessly social atmosphere, no timers, no whistles, no forced rotations, real conversations and real connection.

The BODA boundaries: an anti ghosting community, so if you exchange details and plan a date, communicate honestly. Date outside your swipe type, the best connections often come from people you'd never have matched with on an app. A no creep policy: respect people's space, boundaries and body language. Respect the rejection: a polite no is enough.

Our events have been approved by Vogue, BBC News, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, Stylist, Dazed and more. Come with friends or come solo. Either way, you'll leave having met people you never would've swiped on.

Fortune favours the brave. See you in Melbourne.
