Pitch Your Friend singles night in Birmingham

About this night.

Dating can be a slog. Who doesn't have app fatigue? Join Pitch Your Friend at BOX Brindleyplace for an IRL dating experience like no other, where you get the chance to pitch your friend to a room full of other singles.

If you're pitching, all you need to do is make a three to five minute slide deck (Google Slides, PowerPoint, whatever you prefer) that shows off all the best things about your friend, then take to the mic and give your pitch to the room. You might just be playing cupid.

There's time for mingling in the break and after the pitches, so plenty of time to work your charm if someone catches your eye. Not pitching? No worries, there are plenty of spots in the audience and you still get to join in with the mingling.

Doors open at 7pm, with the presentations starting from about 8pm. Please note the event space is up a flight of stairs.

Key info for pitchers: please arrive close to 7pm to be introduced to the equipment. Presentations can be made in Canva, PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides; send them to hello@garethlewis.co no later than 24 hours before the event, in Google Slides or PowerPoint format. Be mindful of your friend's privacy: don't include anything they'd be mortified to have featured, and agree with them which contact details are fine to share. Instagram handles might be okay, home addresses are not.

Who can attend: everybody 18 and over. You don't have to be single to attend or to pitch, and the night is LGBTQ+ inclusive. Different wristbands mark who is single, to avoid any awkward conversations.
